For 40 years, the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada Gala –Teddy Bear Affair has united a community to be there for children and youth from care. As one of Toronto’s longest-running black-tie events, it represents a powerful tradition of generosity, leadership, and impact. 

As we celebrate this milestone year, the Foundation, alongside Gala Co-Chairs Blake Hutcheson, President & CEO of OMERS, and Keith Pelley, President & CEO of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, invite you to join us for an inspiring evening in support of children, youth, and families involved in the child welfare system. 

Inspired by the Northern Lights, symbols of possibility, beauty, energy and connection, this year’s theme, Powering Canada’s Future, speaks to this moment in our country and our shared responsibility to invest in the next generation. 

At a time of global uncertainty and rapid change, the path forward requires new thinking, collective leadership, and a shared commitment to ensuring no young person is left behind.  

Like the Northern Lights that illuminate the Canadian sky, the progress we see in young people from care is dynamic, powerful, and full of promise.
